All Bird of Prey Encounters:- give you a chance to handle and fly a selection of our birds. Our Events stand allows full public involved and teaching adults and children about birds is such an enjoyable experience for both for everyone. We use a modular setup where you can book the basic package then add other areas to it. Each module's offering is completely free to the public. Every child visiting the stand and taking part in the activities is given a bag containing colouring and quiz sheets and a leaflet. This gives them a place to put anything they have created or filled in while they were at the stand, plus things to do at home.

The Craft Tent:- can be set up alongside the Discovery area and is a huge attraction to children. We supply everything, including the tables and chairs where children (and accompanying adults) can sit and create owl masks, paper plate owl faces or just colour one of our owl colouring sheets. Parents seem to be particularly grateful for the chance to sit down for a while

Interactive Demo's:- Libby and the team will run up to three interactive demo's throughout the day. These take place in a roped off area next to the stand and each demo carries a particular theme. Topics can include Native birds of prey, Exotic birds of prey, Falconry Mythology, History of Falconry and more. At the end of each talk you will be invited into the ring to interact with certain birds, handling and, weather permitting, for flying. Libby and her team encourages you to ask questions and adopts a conversational tone.
